I saw the show for a second time Wednesday night (it was still pretty easy for SRO, I got there at 6 and was the third person in line, the line didn’t start growing until around 8) and boy, this spectacular production has only gotten even more spectacular since May.
Bette is giving a truly wonderful, hilarious performance and it is if the role was specifically written for her. Her adlibs were hilarious (“this is the part critics called charming!” “I hope you like red, this goes on for awhile!”) and her dinner scene with David was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I honestly feel bad for people that weren’t able to see this legend in her habitat, having the absolute time of her life.
The rest of the cast has only gotten stronger. You can tell they all have a great love for each other. Gavin, Kate, Beanie, Taylor and Jennifer have gotten even funnier and they all work so damn well with Bette.
I’m sad I won’t be able to see this again before she leaves but like I said to my boyfriend before showtime, how lucky we were able to see her in this production twice. There are people all over the world who would have killed to see it just once.
Barring this winter storm grounding my flight to NYC tomorrow (please God no), I'll be there Sunday at 2 to see Bette for the fourth and final time. And yes, I feel incredibly grateful for that. Can't wait to hear her ad-libs on her last day. I don't know how the waiters keep a straight face! :)
Had no idea which Dolly thread to post in. Does anyone know if Jennifer Simard (Ernestina) missed any performances yet? I don't recall reading anything about either of her understudies going on.

Can anyone comment on the leg room in the first row of the mezzanine? Looking to get tickets for Bernadette, and wondering how cramped it is. Also, are you able to see the entire stage, or does it cut off the view? Looking at some of the pictures from A View from My Seat it looks unclear.
Thanks!

I sat in the first row of the mezzanine twice, and I do recall any issues with not having enough leg room.
I sat in the middle of the first row (excellent view), and also A24. The far side of the stage was not visible (Irene Molloy's closet in the hat shop, and the booth where Horace and Ernestina sat at Harmonia Gardens).

I sat in mezzanine A 104, and I noticed that the legroom was minimal. I'm short, though, so it didn't affect me. However, when I was sitting all the way back in my seat, I had to sit up very straight in order to see the lip of the passerelle. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to sit there again, since the view was otherwise flawless.
Thank you all! I ended up going with them - couldn't beat the price! Was able to snag them for $109 each. Loved the show with Bette, but had to sit far side orchestra and missed a lot of little things on the side. Excited for a full excellent view.

I got the recordas well. Fabulous."
As did I. The last 90 seconds of Put on Your Sunday Clothes and the instrumental break in Dancing are breathtaking
I’m so very thrilled to say that this show will be my first true Broadway show! Of course I’ve seen tours and a few West End shows, but Hello, Dolly! will be my first true show on the Great White Way!
Now, to my main point... I have a couple seating options that I’d like to get some opinions on. I can get Left Orch Row F Seats 1 and 2, or, Center Mezz Row B Seats 108 and 109.
I’m really not sure how to take in this show, close up or back a bit. I know either way I’ll have a blast, but which pair of seats would be the best?

I’ve sat in those exact Mezz seats and the view is spectacular. Enjoy the show!
