I really want to see this but don't have OWN. I found it interesting that her name hasn't been mentioned as much for the revival as it was for the original. She is a producer isn't she?

Oprah is one of the producers and apparently Kelsey Grammer is too.

Watching it now. It's clear that Oprah is a producer in name only and doesn't have a clue regarding the logistics. (ie. being told by Scott Sanders that the cast is in week two of rehearsal, etc.)
Fun fact: Candy Spelling is a producer too! 1 of 21!

What's the difference between a producer and an investor? I have a feeling Oprah is more of an investor than a producer.

I watched this. It was very Oprahy. A lot of discussion about spiritual awakenings and dreams. I wish there was more interview with John Doyle and his decisions for this production. But worth it in the end, to watch some of the clips from the show and to hear the fabulous 3 ladies sing gloriously.
