More interested in the PERFECT casting of Jessica Walter, Jessica Stone and John McMartin.

I guess Laura will only be in the show for a few months then leave for Bonnie and Clyde? That's if its still on point to open in August.

Yay for Laura! I'm so happy she is returning to Broadway! She will be perfect for this role! Plus, she said that Sutton Foster is her idol on Broadway. I'm so pleased about this.

Jessica Stone will indeed be perfect as Erma.

Has anything been said about this being an open-ended run? Laura could do both depending on what the closing date for Anything Goes is.

I hope this revival won't be a very short run. I also hope there willl be a Cast Recording.

It's Roundabout so unless they say otherwise it'll be a limited run and no cast recording.

Didn't Roundabout already extend it past the original announced dates?

I've been googling but haven't found a closing date yet so if you know I would be very appreciative.

I remember reading in earlier articles that it would play through July 31, 2011. Roundabout's website still has that date listed, but the Playbill.com listing has the run as open-ended.

Ah ha, I don't know how I missed that and I was at the roundabout site. I'm more inclined to go with what Roundabout is saying. Maybe they're considering making it an open run based on advance sales.

And the Tony award for the Best Musical Revival goes to How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. I LOVE Anything Goes and am not all that crazy about How to Succeed (don't hate it, just not crazy about it), but once the Roundabout is involved, forget it.

The presence of Jessica Walter (aka Lucille Bluth) almost fully makes up for the mediocrity of the rest of the cast, which reads like the cast list for a Paper Mill production. Do the names Adam Godley and Colin Donnell excite anyone?

Some names might not be exciting, but Walter, Osnes and McMartin sure are, not to mention Foster and Grey.

Wait, I'm confused. How long has it been since it became theatrically acceptable to like Laura Osnes?

She was great in South Pacific and I think has since proven herself as a great theater actress.

Yes, most people thought she was absolutely delightful in South Pacific. I think most have been giving her good comments on Bonnie and Clyde as well.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
