A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I agree about Merwin as Mal. He has a better take on it than Terrance.
Although understudies would have a hard time with Lane's Gomez interpretation, I'm pretty excited to see how Jim Borstlemann does it. His Uncle Fester is hilarious, and he's just so good. Also seems like he would be good at Gomez, where Foard doesn't seem like the type.

castlestreet, that's exactly why I asked that. The part is so tailored for Nathan, I can't see it working well for him.
As for Nathan and his being sick, it is true he missed a lot during his run for The Producers, but it was due to a throat condition and they say that if he didn't take that time off, he could have very well lost his voice completely. Which is why, if you notice, his voice isn't what it was before The Producers. Not too mention he got injured in both the Broadway and London runs of the show. I would believe the fact he was sick, because I have friends who know him personally and from what they say and what I gather from interviews, he hates missing shows. Wether he likes them or not. He may have missed during Producers, but he hardly ever missed in the past. Even in MERLIN, he performed the show on crutches when he broke his leg. In THE ODD COUPLE, he took a very short while off (one week I believe) when he injured his hand and came back and performed it with a splint. In THE FROGS, he slipped a disk in his back during a performance and was back two days later. The man loves what he does and I don't believe he would play sick just to get a break. Just my input. :)

Posted: 1/29/11 at 12:07amIt is true that he developed vocal nodes (or nodules) during The Producers, which caused him to miss a string of performances. There was a lot of press about it at the time.
