Don't you think?
You think "they" know?
And who would have thought it figures?
Don't you mean "f**cking perfect"? (the name of one of her songs)
But yes, I totally agree.
Maybe the glitter in the air she speaks of is actually pixie dust.
Has anyone seen her in Thanks For Sharing?

This is a really good idea. Something I wouldn't have thought of.
I had posted this back in December and was quickly shot down by some old pros on this board... https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.php?thread=1067425#4495118
needless to say, I hope it happens!!
I agree!
Pink...and Hugh Jackman as Hook!
I'd love to see her work her magic as the leading player in Pippin as well!
They want to have a "real boy" play Peter Pan this time. If they do this the only one I can think of that would be able to do it would be Chris Colfer.
I'd need proof he's a biological male.

Hugh Jackman is already playing Blackbeard in the 2015 "Pan" movie. It's unlikely he'll do two Peter Pan related projects one after another.
I think Stokes would make a great Captain Hook.
didn't anyone learn from Carrie Underwhelming that they need to cast REAL actors in these things?
someone who has any kind of experience or training in acting. or how about someone who even makes there living from acting, as opposed to a recording artist.
This is such a hypothetical since Pink will never star in this production. But if she did you would be against it because she's not a "real actor". Gabourey Sidibe made her debut in PRECIOUS. Do you begrudge the Academy for nominating her since she wasn't a "real" actor? Laura Osnes debuted on Broadway in GREASE after winning a reality tv show. Is she not a "real" actor, either? How about Lana Turner? She was sitting in a drug store and then she was famous.
Alicia Moore (Pink) has several acting credits to her name. At what point does someone become "real" enough for you to accept them?

If we went by FANtom's logic, these broadcasts would never happen because profitable corporations aren't dumb enough to invest millions of dollars into a television event without an A-list celebrity or mainstream superstar. Don't even feed it, Jordan.
Daniel Radcliffe could pull it off, because the playful silliness and self-effacing quality of his public image would allow him to dress up as Peter Pan and crow without ruining his credibility.
I am rooting for Radcliffe, too. He'd be terrific.
John Lithgow would be a great Captain Hook to Pink's Peter Pan.

Pink is a sensational, out of the box idea. But I think they'll go with a teen band boy as Peter and someone like Bryan Cranston as Hook. Then cameo the thing out. Beyonce as Tiger Lily, Elle Fanning as Wendy, Michael J. Fox as Smee, Kate Hudson as Mrs. Darling/Adult Wendy, and so on and whoever. Their ilk will sign on because it's only a couple-day shoot for each of them, and it's now considered a prestige project. Sweet.

Why would someone like Beyonce sign on to do a cameo? She would demand millions just for a cameo.
A "couple-day shoot"? You realize this is a live broadcast with multiple weeks of rehearsing in anticipation of a singular day of shooting. Right?
