I saw this show when she did it at Lincoln Center in May and it was fabulous. She's both so talented and a fantastic entertainer!

Monday cannot come soon enough so I can purchase my tix. I am very much looking forward to seeing LuPone again after her well deserved Tony win.

I saw Betty Buckley's version of this... you were only supposed to write one song per person and I put at least 10 with fake names. When she "pulled" a song out the hat, she read the name of the person and of course I didn't say anything. I'm pretty sure she only picked songs that she was comfortable with

The most recent Lincoln Center version of this left much to be desired, and I say that as a HUGE Patti fan. It was Tony nominations day, she had just recovered from Covid and was doing 8 shows a week and this was her day off, so I understood, but she was not in great voice and very clearly picked easier songs.

I'd LOVE to see her in top form do this though because even with all of the above, she still sparkled on that stage and the setlist I'm sure will include some more of her vocally demanding standards rather than every other song form West Side Story.

I’m very interested :) I’ve never seen any version of this “songs from hat” show before. Do the audiences put their own choices of songs to a hat and Patti will pick some randomly??

She has a hat with (in theory) her current repertoire in it and she picks from it randomly. I don't believe Patti's version has audience submissions.

Now I kinda wanna see Patti guest on Whose Line and play “Scenes from a Hat” proper; I think she’d be a lot funnier and more spontaneous than some of the guests the CW edition has had.

I'd like to see her do this live from a bathhouse, like in AHS:NYC.
