I was at the show tonight (first trip back since the second preview) and it was amazing. I got a front row center seat through rush and being that close for every facial expression and intricacy of these performances made the experience that much more intense and wonderful. I have so much love and respect for this cast and the immense amount of energy and care they have put into this show. I loved every second of it and am so gad I took the time to go back... definitely worth the long wait in front of the theater this morning!
Ok, so I've been dying to show someone my avatar but didn't want to come off as annoying and random then this thread got bumped and I figured this would be the perfect place.
How amazing is she, like, seriously? Love her!

So Aaron lost his sneaker over the side of the scaffolding last night during "Just Another Day" and I'm wondering if that's happened before. They covered it beautifully, but the audience was still cracking up over the very obvious blooper. Mainly I think because it took so long for Alice to notice the shoe had fallen, everyone was kind of wondering how Aaron would get it back in time. (She tossed it up just before he came downstairs. It was awesome.)
I was there last night - that was hilarious! I thought I noticed Alice going to jokingly "in her mania" pour cereal into the shoe too, but I could be wrong. It was a damn good throw up too Aaron too!
You know, I wouldn't have been surprised if that's what Alice was doing. They seemed kind of extra... zany last night, didn't they?
Did you guys rush? That had been my original plan but I chickened out last minute when I heard how early people have been getting there. Ended up getting discount front mezz the day before and I'm SO glad that worked out. Now I'm just wondering at what time the line became full!
Froggy, my friend rushed yesterday morning and got two tickets. We were sitting in the middle two seats of the right box, and she got to the theatre at 7am. Rush has definitely been nuts lately, and with this being Aaron's last week it definitely won't get any easier.
The show was... interesting last night. It was still fantastic, but something seemed very slightly off. I don't know if it would've been really discernible to anyone who hadn't seen the show before though, other than the very very obvious shoe incident.
