Sorry, no. I've only seen a digital image of the invitation and it doesn't mention anyone.

I haven't been on this board for about a year, but I HAVE to check in about the Phantom 30th. I'll be at Broadway Con, but so far, they're not doing anything about POTO's 30th, and they don't know how to get tickets. No one seems to know if there will be any available for the public.
I'm going to keep checking here, because you guys all seem to have pretty good intel about what happens on Broadway.
Merry Christmas, to those who celebrate.

It's official James Barbour is finished his run as Phantom as of Dec 23rd. Now Laird Mackintosh is taking over until Peter Joback comes in on Jan 15th! If you guys can check out Laird, do so...he's pretty great!!

I'm so glad that Mr. Barbour is gone; he was one of the least impressive Phantoms I've ever seen.
I sure wish I could get up there to catch Mr. Mackintosh again!

The latest I've heard is that the entire 30th Anniversary Celebration performance is off-sale to the general public.

When you say it's off-sale to the public, I assume you mean no one who is not invited will be going? So no public sale at all for the 24th?
This was my fear, but I am happy being there on the actual anniversary to see Peter...I guess it's the next best thing....sigh

My understanding is that no tickets for the event will be sold. ![]()

Mr. Barbour is one the least impressive people I've ever seen. I mean I've heard nothing good about his Phantom. I saw him in the Camelot tour with Michael York and Rachel York (no relation), and there was zero chemistry between him and Rachel. His If Ever I Would Leave you was boring. BORING!!

If you haven't heard, TelechargeOffers.com is selling 30th mezzanine tickets for $30 apiece. You must go to the OFFERS website (not regular telecharge) and enter code "SINGFOR30".

Posted: 1/19/18 at 6:34pmThanks, Lot666. Thanks to you I’ve just picked up tickets for the 30th anniversary show. The link on the Phantom Broadway twitter page is wrong & takes you to the normal telecharge website. Thanks for putting the right info on your post.

Is there a dress code because of the special occasion or can I just go in normal clothes.

I attended the 25th in a tuxedo because it was listed as a black tie event. My friends came in formal attire as well. I was surprised at all those who showed up in casual attire.

I'm so happy that many of you who (like me) have been hoping to score tickets, have managed to do so via the corrected website info. When I first received notification of the Twitter announcement, I also used their link and found no way to enter the code. My mind started frantically trying to remember where on Telecharge I had previously seen a "Code" field and TelechargeOffers.com was the only thing that came to mind. I was so relieved to find that it worked and quickly posted it here because I figured everyone else was probably just as confused as I was.
Regarding the special guests, I've heard no names, but a friend on the inside has assured me that the finale will be quite memorable.

Lot666 (and everyone), did you see they released front Mezz tix for $100 each? Now I literally have 2 sets of tickets....ugh. They are on the regular Telecharge website.

I feel your pain. And I chose to pick up the tickets at the box office (to have them as keepsakes), so I literally will be GIVING my Rear Mezz tix to someone on the street that night... I have a sneaking suspicion there will be ORCH seats too....grrrr

In a separate thread, I'm offering up my rear mezz ticket to anyone who's willing give me face value ($40). I figure it's still cheaper than anything on Telecharge right now.

While the release of the front mezzanine seats is quite exasperating for those who purchased rear mezz under the assumption that nothing better would be put on sale, I'm confident that it will stop here. Based on my experience with the 25th anniversary, it is highly unlikely that orchestra seats will be sold to the public.

I can't tell if this is just poor writing, or if this author is insinuating she is returning to the role of Christine. It was posted on facebook with the caption "Big news coming this week.." so I don't know.
Simply put, actress Sandra Joseph is the longest-running leading lady from the longest-running Broadway show of all time. Returning to her signature role as Christine in The Phantom Of The Opera, 2018 marks the 30th anniversary of the musical’s debut on Broadway; it won the 1988 Tony Award for Best Musical.
(Emphasis mine).
