Leopoldstat (loved the story and acting I would say close to a master work of Stompard)
akimbo
pi (unfortunately I hear. Looks beautiful. But is a terrible book)

So its a choice between best new Play and best new Musical.
I haven’t seen Leopoldstat, have seen Kimberly and just saw Pi.
My vote is Pi, visually spectacular and still moving despite the flaws in the book. Make sure you sit in the mezz.

I guess it depends on what you gravitate towards - if you are more of a musical fan see Kimbo If creative staging and design excite you see PI. If you enjoy historical drama and rather the spoken word and the balance of the shows you seeing are more upbeat then see Leop.

Leopoldstat, considering how big the cast is even if it wins Best Play, productions regionally will be limited
Some original cast members of Leopoldstadt have their final performance at today's matinee. Just an fyi.

I will say that some of the cast that they have taking on larger roles as the original leads depart are still fantastic. There’s an actor Jesse Aaronson phenomenal performance
Is Brandon Uranowitz remaining with the production or have any scheduled vacations coming up? I have tickets for next week and really wanted to see him in it!
LEOPOLDSTADT. You'll never see another production of this magnificent play like it. And it will definitely be gone this summer while KA could be here for a while beyond that.
