I'm just wondering why it's listed as PIRATE QUEEN and not THE PIRATE QUEEN.

The Sony part and the date sound correct. I wish there was a picture of the logo or other details to confirm this is actually it.

Since this is specific highlights, is there going to be a more complete version released? I would like to buy the cd, but I'm not going to buy both the highlights and the full version.

Based on watching the CastCom clips it's clear that no complete version of The Pirate Queen was recorded or is currently planned for release.

In one video Alain Boublil talks about how challenging it was to fit the recording into the 75 minute limit of a single CD.

Popular, seeing that they're cutting corners by only doing a Highlights Album, perhaps another part of this included the removal of "THE" from all of the albums.

I mean, let's face it, this production can't exactly afford all of the luxuries of other cast albums.

I'd just be happy to get a "PIRATE QUEEN HIGHLIGHTS CAST ALBUM" than no album at all. Well, I wouldn't exactly be happy to get one. I was speaking in general. But if I did get one, I'd be sure to give it to you.

I think I'm gonna get this recording when it comes out. I'm very curious to hear the music for myself, since I'm not gonna be able to get to NY this summmer.

I do wish we could've gotten a full recording. I almost never buy highlights CDs anymore cause every time I've bought one, I ended up getting the full recording, but obviously that's not gonna happen here.

Ah! Day Beyond Belclare!!! Every time I see the title I get the song stuck in my head for HOURS, and I don't know more than just that one line!!!

I'll Be There is a highlight for me as well... and is "Here On This Night" still part of the show? Because I actually really liked it too...

Just curious all over to see how the music has changed. I've read a lot about it, but not heard it first hand.
