I can't seem to get telecharge to let me "pick my own" seats. It's MARKED with that choice, but not happening. Additionally, the only way I'm even seeing "best available" is in the past history box.
Any one else?
(I've tried both for Farinelli & the King as well as for The Band's Visit)

Telecharge is one of the worst user friendly website I've ever used, to the point where I've given up and not bought any tickets at times.
I recommend you to try toggling between different browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc).

Telecharge has been very quirky over the past several weeks, sometimes going down completely for hours at a time. However, I'd still rather do business with them than Ticketmaster; at least the Telecharge phone agents understand the concept of customer service.

Telecharge is the worst.
It can behave differently depending on the browser you are using. Also differently between desktop and mobile.

Telecharge- in spite of quirks- beats Ticketmaster by a mile- I HATE Ticketmaster- big ripoff and friend to bots and scalpers.

Hi All,
Is anyone else having issues with Telecharge today? I can't seem to search for tickets by seating chart. I can let Telecharge pick seats for me but the option to choose your own seats just goes to a blue screen. I am on my desktop (IMac) and have tried with both Safari and Firefox.

I had a similar problem the other day, but instead of the blue screen, it would just look like it was perpetually "loading." But if I went back and switched it to "Let Telecharge pick for me," it would work just fine. I just waited a few hours and tried again.
This is completely random and pretty unrelated, but since we're on the topic of Telecharge, I've been curious for a while: What do the purple seats mean? They show up in (what I think is) random-ish places in some shows, and their prices are different than the regular (orange) and premium (blue) seats.

Since I posted yesterday since around 8:00PM or so haven't been able to get on the site at all. Be it Desktop, iPad or iPhone.

I wasn't able to select my own seats when I was buying tickets for my 2014 trip and contacted them on Facebook about it. This was what they advised back then:
'You should also check that you have the most current version of Silverlight. You can check for new Silverlight updates or re-install updates by right clicking on the black box and selecting "Silverlight." Then click on the updates tab in the new window and select "Install updates automatically." You should also try to clear your browser cache.'
When that didn't work they then sent me a link to a fix from Microsoft to download, but that didn't help either. I think I ended up buying my tickets from my iPad or another computer where it worked.
Strangely, 2 years later, the site worked just fine on the exact same computer! (Although I can't remember if I had Chrome installed in 2014)

Honestly, I don't know what happened to Telecharge. It used to be a good, reliable site, and I could get my tickets in no time.
But now, it's basically broken. I pretty much have to get lucky multiple times, in order to buy a ticket.
Including having to try multiple times to be able to pick my own seat.

I've been having problems with Telecharge the past 2 days on my desktop. When I try to look for tickets for any show, I get the message "we're sorry, we're having a problem with this feature of the site right now. Please try again." I have restarted my computer, used 2 different web browsers, and have unplugged my router and cable modem. I called Telecharge and they were useless - only wanted to sell me tickets over the phone. Any other suggestions? As always, the information on this site is invaluable!

In the past, my IP address has been blocked by Telecharge, mainly for excessive searching with multiple devices on my Wi-Fi at the same time, although I've had it happen randomly, for no apparent reason. To see if this is the case with you, try downloading the Opera web browser, and enable the VPN option. Just do a Google search, and it will give you directions on how to do that. This will change your IP address to a virtual one when you use that browser. If it works for you, then, more than likely, your real IP address is blocked. The only way I've been able to fix it is to unplug my modem and router overnight, for at least 8 hours, and, if your ISP supports a dynamic IP address, it will assign you a new one.
