Oh, dear God. For a moment I thought she had a big Burberry shawl on.
This is my signature.

She looks like she's wondering what to order at Sardi's.

Enough Rosie O'Donnell jokes. Not funny.
theatertrash - Yea, they do sure seem to dine well. You know - in every single production. Topol? Fat. Zero Mostel? Fat. You don't really have a point here.

Sorry, sorry, sorry. I couldn't resist. I used to be the world's biggest Rosie supporter. Then that just plain... changed. I'm so sick of her.

Golde is a woman who has suffered much to make a home for her husband and daughters. It usually shows in her face. All that Rosie's face shows is Revlon.

Why must people pick on the woman.
It makes me sick. She might surprise you. She happens to be a great actress.
Go and see the show and then decide. It gives me another reason to see Harvey again.
Harvey is great in the role, many people made fun until they saw him. I knew he would be great. He always is.
I hope Rosie makes you eat your words.

Although she does annoy me very much, I still am intrigued by this stunt casting and am not sure if I will like her or not but I know some way or another, I will end up at the Minskoff again to see her in it. Let everyone make fun but at least 3/4 of you will probably see her in it.

Corine, darling:
I was criticizing the picture. I can't say a word about her performance because she probably hasn't even gone into rehearsal yet. However your comment that Rosie is "a great actress" gives me pause. When one thinks of "great" actresses one usually comes up with Zoe Caldwell, Julie Harris, Angela Lansbury, Vanessa Redgrave, Marian Seldes, Dana Ivey, Colleen Dewhurst and Jessica Tandy--just to name a few. Now you're adding Rosie O'Donnell to that list?

well...yea i thought the costume looked a little funny...but I think she has brought some justice to roles in various movies, and i'm sure she'll do the same for Golde

Corine - I did not like Harvey....not his acting or his singing.
But mainly he was weak.

Am I the only one who thinks this casting might actually work?

I love Rosie O'Donnell, so much. However, I think this picture is horrible. Rosie looks like she has no interest in the girl and I see nothing but boredom in her face.
