they dont have to do anything
Does this strike anyone else as really bad casting? A pretty Munchkin. I don't know.
Christopher Fitzgerald is pretty too....
But Randy's pretty in a different way...like stud pretty. I don't know.
Well, yes. LOL!!! God yes!!!
I LOVE HIM! And I love QAF! But can Randy sing? Let's hope so....
And Christopher Fitzgerald IS pretty! When's he leaving?
def. right, chris is cute but randy is gorgeous! wonder how that will work. Maybe he should play fiyero? i dont know how his acting is tho..
Apparently he can sing. He was in 1776 awhile back, and I believe he's done a couple other musicals. So let us pray!
I can't really see him as Fiyero. I think he looks a little too young to be playing opposite Idina or Eden.

Never mind 'can he sing?'. The question is can he act.. and the answer is a big fat NO! Urgh.
I can't wait to hear him deliver the "Nessa I have something to Confessa" line.
this twink is this year's pink
damn I'm excited....Randy has a theatre background so this should be good!! Ugh QAF rocks my world!! This is great...I think Kristin will have a harder time rejecting Boq now...yuuuum!
I wonder how he'll be in the role. I can't picture him as Boq
MAKE IT STOP.

I can totally picture him as Boq. This is one of those times when I hate the fact that I don't live in NY...which is pretty much all the time..... Updated On: 5/26/04 at 11:27 PM
LMAO @ Broadwaylilhead. (PS. Are you watching the advanced screening of HP: TPOA?)
What's Randy's "real" voice like? I can see him playing a young Boc well, but he looks and seems to have too young a voice to sound "right" with Michelle Federer.

Hmm - I think he'll be wonderful in the role, but I do have to wonder how he's going to look with some of the older gals of the cast...
Love,
Joshie
Randy actually has a more solid theatre background than he does TV. Before QaF, he'd never acted in front of a camera before.

This show really doesn't need to bring in a tv "name", if that's what you call it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't know who he is. I'd prefer to see the understudies who are already with the show!
randy attended ccm for musical theatre. i know many people are automatically against him for being a television actor, and i would be too except for the fact that he does have a heavy musical theatre background. he must not be all that bad if he got accepted into ccm, and its obvious that must have been what he was planning on pursuing. im happy for him. its not his fault he went on an audition for a television show, got it, and become popular among the gay community. i dont know any out of work actor that would say no to a part on a controversial new drama, whether they wanted to go into musical theatre or not.
Exactly. Don't penalize a talented person for having a resume.

I visited my best friend in Ohio when I was a freshmen at FSU. My best friend went to CCM and I got introduced to several of the conservatory students and even got to sit in on their classes. Randy was a good friend of my best friend and I rememember being in one of their voice classes and Randy sang "Not A Day Goes By". Let me just tell you guys....Randy's voice is GORGEOUS! I didn't think he could produce such a huge sound but he has an awesome, rich voice. I was surprised that he went the television route as he was a great musical theater student. The dance instructors even let me take dance class with them and Randy was great in that too. I'm sure he'll be a great Boq. I can assure you his voice is outstanding..........I guess this is stunt casting but having seen and heard him in person, I think he'll be great in the role. Updated On: 5/27/04 at 01:09 AM
I hate when people call Randy a twink. His character on QAF is a twink, Randy is not. Stop bluring the line of reality....it's just a TV show.
Not that I can't take a joke, I get it. It's funny, but stop.
