So what has Joey been up to lately?
Wonderwaiter...here is a sock puppet for you....
I know he was in and co-choreographed the movie Chicago...but after J&H...it was probably hard to get staging work.
quickie look...he's helping with Dreamgirls.

I loved HOT FEET but I don't agree that it's racism. I think it's that the producers didn't court the nominators. That Merceds Ellington sure can wear a hat.

It's sad that Maurice Hines couldn't have choreographed different dances for the wonderful performer to do instead of having them do the same routine over and over and over It's sort of like the way that Chenoweth can only do one role no matter that the show is

Candida, you could probably get some sympathy from Cynthia McKinney or, perhaps, you could throw your cell phone at the nominating committee

Explain to me how Hot Feet got snubbed due to racism, when another African American musical, "The Color Purple", got many nods.
Please explain in a 1,274 word essay. It is due on this board by 8:00 AM tomorrow morning.
The Wedding Singer is a great musical, 100000000000 times better than Hot Feet. I understand you might be frustrated about Hot Feet not getting nods, but why attacking a good show that has gotten nods?
When did anyone attack The Wdding Singer? I loved the choreography from TWS, and I think it will win.

Candida, people who are bias never really believe that they are. They will laugh, make jokes at your expense and never really examine the issue. I believe that racism, bias and the "hate card" are used far too frequently, however, that doesn't mean they don't exist!
Remember, the critics hated the Wiz the same way. They said that Judy Garland would be turning over in her grave! The public kept it open for years. You really can't pay much attention to these pseudo intellectual Broadway types. Most of them could not sing or act their way out of a paper bag. They want what they saw yesterday. Put a bunch of Black people in a show singing ‘bout dem old days. "Lawdy lawdy lawd. I jus luv dem so. I’s so tired, my feets sho is a hurtin!" Good old fashioned, loyal, hard workin, sweatin folk. Had Maurice Hines put a couple of scenes in the show like this they would have loved it!
Tony nods for all!!!
