...so get your tickets! This short-lived musical phenomenon should not be missed, and there are still seats available.

The last performance goes up at 11 p.m. on Saturday evening.

I have seen it so many times and I am still sad it is closing! Go see it! Its good, very good.

It's a sad commentary on the state of show business when a show of this quality dies in spite of good reviews and excellent word-of-mouth.

They've recorded it and it should be out in April, last I checked. I might have made the month up, but some time this spring.

Westernsky, Yes they have not been selling out (hence the closing). I would not suggest getting to the boxoffice at 7:30. But if you get there when it opens there will probably not be a problem.

Amazon lists April 24. The cast was saying end of March.

Do what you can to see it! Rush shouldnt be hard to get.
Monday night they had 400 seats sold which is great for them.

The cast recording I think is coming out in March. Im not sure.

The cd will be released around March 24-this is from the production and merchandise manager.

Also-the show is pretty near sold out for the rest of the performances, but there still ARE tickets is you act fast!

I might be the most brokenhearted over this closing. At least they're moving the show and not comletely closing!

I went tonight, there were a lot of empty seats, perhaps because of the weather.
I had a great time, the performers really looked as though they were having a blast!

That's odd, the tickets sold for that performance was 450. That leaves very few seats. Perhaps you're right and the weather kept some away.

There weren't THAT many empty seats tonight.. maybe forty or so between the orchestra and mezzanine levels (out of 499) after some patrons were asked to leave because of inappropriate behavior. It was a near full house, actually.

Okay, this show has been on my "maybe" list for a while....I think I will try to see it. I know the closing notice isn't news but I've been mulling it over for a while and I've decided to go for it. (Paying my bills can wait!) I'm gonna try to get tickets for closing night. Now I just have to decide if I want to get tickets in the "splatter-zone" or not...?????

Assuming, of course, that there are still "splatter-zone" tickets still available....I would love to sit in front wearing a nice, white shirt and see how red it gets, but my friend who I might take isn't as thrilled about the idea of getting splattered with stage blood.

Harris, I heard Toronto and also a tour.

courtny, we've got people showing up every night to fill the splatter zone with white shirts on in order to get full of blood. It's so cute-they come with bags of clean clothes to change into after the show. Some of them are red head to toe!

Well, if we have to lose the show, at least we're getting the cd! Can't wait!

The first time we saw the show was on New Year's Eve and we sat in the splatter zone. It was great fun.

Although we had the ponchos on, we got quite a bit of blood on our khaki pants and got plenty of odd looks as we walked through Penn Station after the show.

I'll miss this show.

They're plastic ponchos and they're given out free during intermission.
