just a thought...Mya (the pop singer) did great in Chicago..even though her part was small..she nailed it!

in my opinion they should've casted her as Mimi over Rosario Dawson..but who knows..maybe she'll pull it off...but what do u think about it?

Mya might have been able to do it, but she's not a very strong singer. She definitely has the look, but I'm not sure about the voice. Good idea, though!

i dunno. i'm reserving judgement until i watch the movie and see Rosario's Mimi. i like Mya, though. she was really cute in Chicago.

Oh ick. I think she managed to be simply awful in her three lines in Chicago. Shes the one thing about that movie I'd go back and erase.

well from what i hear from the anthony rapp board, she is doing well. Besides, they needed a larger name in the show and rosario has a larger name than mya. It is different material too.

Emcee knows my feelings on on Daphne not being in the film. But after seeing Rosario film the other night and hearing her singing voice I'm easing up to the fact that she will be Mimi.

I still don't like it, but I'm learning to live with it.

hey, i just came by this "rumor" ( i hope) in a live journal entry...is Idina and Taye divorced? i read somewhere that she called him "my ex-husband" in an interview.???hmmmm.

Just in a perfect world, Michael. I know that she is in fact too old to play a 19 year old. I just can't stand listening to anyone else sing those songs. I secretly hope they decide Rosario's voice isn't up to par and they dub her w/ Vega.
