Just a heads up...the cast of the film Rent will be performing on the Today Show on Thursday.

THURSDAY, AUG. 4
7:00 a.m. ET The cast of the new movie "RENT" perform live on the plaza as part of the "Toyota Summer Concert Series." Cornhole with Andy Milonakis of MTV’s “The Andy Milonakis show.”Steven Squyres talks about the book "Roving Mars." Peter Greenberg talks about 3 day getaways from St. Louis. Robbi Thomas talks about how to pack for a 3-day getaway.

So the question is, now that Idina and Tracie are singing TMOLM in the park, do you think they are also going to be singing it on The Today Show, because that would be really cool.

Hopefully not seasons of love..there are other good songs from that show, people! lol

I'd imagine it would be SOL. It showcases the whole cast, not just one or two people. Plus, there's a possibility they release SOL as a single before the movie (they'd be smart to, anyway), so might as well get it out to the mainstream ASAP

I'm going to be there! I just really hope that the cast performs before 10...9:30 would be nice. I need to get to work! ARGH! Oy...I need to be at the park. Idina doing TMOLM?!?!? Ahhhhhhh. *bounces* I think BWW should take over the Today Show and kick ass! Step down Katie Couric! It seems as if I'll be fashionably late to work...:/ Shall I go find my remains the giant roll of caution tape and make a nice little VIP space for BWWers...or will the Today Show people come after me?

I'm actually confused, where exactly is it? Like the area infront of FAO and the Plaza...or I am confusing my shows? Oh well...finding out at 5am in the morning is good enough for me.

They're doing TMoLM in Bryant Park?? That's awesome. I don't think I'm going to the Today SHow. I want to get a good spot in the park.

omg! I so don't want to be living in SC rgith now....grrr! I REALLY hope that they do TMOLM on the Today show...I would be so happy and i hope they do it before 9:00am b/c down here they cut out one hour of the Today show b/w 10 and 11 to air Kelly and Regis. All you lucky people going to Bryant park betterr POST!!!!!

To the Today Show, beacs? I can't get up that early. I also can't brave legions of RENTheads that early; I'm gonna stay home, make sure it tapes since I'm using a TV with wonky tendencies, then I'm heading out to Bryant Park as soon as the broadcast ends. Wouldn't miss it for the world.

I will be in Bryant Park...but the Today Show. Mrehhh Too many tourists AND RENTheads. I would have to be there at like 4am to get a good spot in the plaza.

Unless they sing it on TV, not for public consumption. So if they ONLY sing it in the park, no.

Well, MAYBE for the DVD release of the movie (the 'special edition,' anyway), but that would be the only thing I could think of - and I'd much rather them have some performances from the 10th Anny Concert.
