I didn't squeal or anything when they started singing that song... nope... not me.. I don't squeal..
That just made me a very very happy girl.
Ah yes, and Taye and Idina are adorable.

Adam and Anthony sounded awesome! It was like the OBC Recording live on tv...they sounded the same. I am really excited for this now. And how cute are Idina and Taye!
That was the best way to start my day. Amazing. Rosario has become a RENThead, lol.

I'm not the hugest Adam fan ever....but he looks/sounds really good. As he and Anthony sang, Rosario and Tracie just looked happy to be at the party - standing with the other RENTheads singing along! I loved the shot from the stage show where they're standing in the same spots -- 10 years before.
eeee :)
i'm starting to fall in love with anthony as well.... how sweet is he?
I am not crazy about Adam either but he sounded great. I love Rent but wouldnt consider myself a "Renthead" but I am getting a little choked up too! Its back on!
Anthony is so real...thats what makes me love him
Please tell me someone taped it and is planning on putting it online.. pretty please? *bats eyelashes*

I wish I wasn't babysitting today.. grrr.. and I had to help her put her contacts in so I missed SOL! At least I saw what you own!

Same here, bettyschaefer.
I was never too excited for the movie, but I think I am now.
Wonderful cast, great score, amazing meaning.
I am listening to the OBCR now.

They are in such good shape... oh wow... It was amazing. Can't wait to hear more from those of you who actually got to go! It sounded and looked great from my livingroom! And even though it's just hair... oh man
Yeah... I can't get over how gorgeous Adam looked. I don't know Emcee at all, but the first thought that came to mind was "Wow - she must be flipping out". lol
I'm so sad I'll be missing Bryant Park. I'm moving to the city a month too late!

Can I just say that I love that the show is staying true to its theatre roots -- especially working with BC/EFA. I just think that is wonderful.
SOL made me cry. But that's no surprise, since it's connected with the trailer and the trailer makes me cry.
Idina and Taye ARE adorable, as always.
I loooved that they all looked so connected with each other, and when Adam went to sing to Rosario, she and Tracie went all fangirl like and started screaming. It was so cute to see them just acting like fans.
What You Own was phenomenal. Those two never cease to amaze me. I am a huge huge Adam Pascal girl .. and .. he is just, wow. So ...*pets him*. Anthony's adorable too, I agree with all of you.
Ugh, this is just such an attractive cast! I love them all.
And I will post likely watch this about .... 6 more times today. At least. WONDEROUS.
Also - I was happy to see them show a clip from a scene we hadn't seen, even though Katie was talking over it. (They showed a clip of Anthony and Adam.)
Are you all New Yorkers? The performances haven't aired yet in Chicago.

Agreed, musicnmath. It was very appropriate that Anthony spoke hardly of the film, but of the cause. Beautiful performance. Gosh did they all look great. Tracie in that little shirt, Adam, Anthony - goodness gracious - Someone take pictures in the park, por favor!
It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
That was great!
I didnt know they were singing "What You Own"
which is like one of my favorite songs of all time
very nice surprise.
*mucho applause* That was AWESOME... and I'm not even that big a RENT fan.
Hmm. I'm sensing that's becoming a trend, though. Even non-RENT addicts seem excited for this!
