I think so, Evelyn. The segment should be on from 8:30 to 9 your time. Enjoy!

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell

I love the whole cast, but Adam looked really skinny....
Idina is so beautiful, I can't wait to see them at the park this afternoon!

But of course, DreamFlyer! Modern movie-musicals bring Broadway to a larger audience that might not know of or see it without big-screen adaptations. That's what makes me so happy. Even if people know it only for the movie, they'll still get the message.

Hearing the kinda-RENT heads get excited (I'd put me in that category too), seeing the banners on this site, and the new posters the RENTheads on TV were holding, Today show coverage....I hope this little swell just continues to grow. I am reminded how I felt about this show 10 years ago when it came out. happy place. sigh. :)

And, I also think when Adam ran over to sing to Rosario, that that was too cute. I like how Rosario and Tracie were like, rockin' out.
Well, I'm glad he got away with it.

Wow that was awesome. I got all choked up. And I'm feeling VERY sorry for myself right now, because I won't get to see them in Bryant Park. I really hope someone will tape it and put online for all of us.

I'm kicking myself under my desk for not going down to NYC for the day to see them all live! Tracie sounded amazing and Jesse looked good!

I just got done watching it in the midwest, and it was ta-awesome! "Seasons of Love" sounded great, but my favorite part was "What You Own," because that's my favorite song, and while I don't know if they officially announced which numbers they were going to perform (I was out all day yesterday, so I couldn't post or read on here), I think we all knew they would do "Seasons of Love," but I know I didn't expect "What You Own." I got all jumpy inside - I wish I could meet you guys at Bryant Park! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!

.

The chords for What You Own were AWESOME. I expect them to pipe it up for the screenings.

Tears are running down my face...I will have to see the movie like 100 times, because I will be crying and will miss a lot of it. I live in Houston, and I am so jealous...Adam and Anthony sounded awesome...I was a little worried at first, but then they jelled and WOW!!

Evelyn -- they *better* pump it up!! It was hard to hear the accompaniment. If they really expect this score to feel more "rock" I need to hear a little more than the pretty voices I like :)

I'm so excited about the movie. The only bad part is that i had to explain to my dad why they were on there. He was like "isn't that an old muscial? Why are they on there now?" I said, "they're making a movie" and he said "of that? It wasn't that good. Its just about inner city kids." hah. I wanted to open palm slap him! haha. i love this show.

I am so glad that I got my butt up early to see this! Is is just me, or is it kind of weird that they intermixed it with a segment about corn-chucking(or whatever it was called)? It seemed like a strange thing to include.

It was SO AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sounded amazing, but at one point they sounded off a tiny bit. But who cares!!!!!!! Idina and Taye did the cutest hip-bump! Roasario (wrong spelling) Dawson's mother was hilarioius! Kinda trying to stay out of the way but wants to be there. Adam and Anthony were good! I'M JUST SO HAPPY!
you say i'm weird! look at everyone you're sitting with! and hey, those guys over there just threw napkins up in the air like they were on something! it's contajous! you can't help it!
