Rachel Zegler Cast in Unnamed Musical Film - Joseph?

Did anyone catch this? Rachel Zegler just confirmed in an interview that she's been cast in an unnamed musical film and she literally said she's "working with some amazing people on it" but can't say what it is yet.

Isn’t there a rumor of a Spring Awakening film with Zegler and Billie Eilish? LOL

Yeah apparently it’s a Sweaty Oracle rumor and I have to take him with a grain of salt

Billie Eilish is already in talks to make her screen acting debut Sarah Polley's adaptation of "The Bell Jar" Granted, that could work in either direction - it could signal a desire to break into acting that could include a plan for a Spring Awakening movie or it could be a scheduling conflict that takes it off the table.

Well I could see it…I mean what better way to get yourself off of the Snow White hate train than a biopic of Gloria Estefan. Also and I know this is gonna sound crazy, but she could also do In The Heights at City Center in the fall

I don't think it's gone beyond Del Toro expressing interest in doing a version of it at some point.

She would be fantastic in Spring Awakening. I really hope that's it. She's such a fascinating performer to me, because she seems to effortlessly play both soprano/operatic roles like Maria and also full-throated belt roles like Evita, Millie, etc. I can't think of many other Broadway performers (past or present) that are as good at both.
