By "rarest" I would equate it to what has gotten the highest bid on eBay recently. Though not an original cast recording, the "Holy Grail"of the rarest of all theater related CD'S has to be the "Book of the Month Club Sondheim 2 CD SET". It's sold on eBay for over $500 both times its been up for auction in the last 3 months.

I have "The Capeman" recording. A friend of mine worked on the show. It's awesome! "Adios Hermanos" is one of my all time fav MT songs. If anyone wants a copy I am all for trading (hope its OK to talk trading on this site. If not so sorry).

Thanks for the update on Zanna Don't potentially becoming rare.

I just ordered a copy from Amazon to be safe. I finally ordered Thou Shalt Not as well. Amazon only has 4 copies left. Is that a sign that it's going out of print or just that they don't keep it in stock because no one cares?

I think that they pressed a certain number of copies for Thou Shalt Not and that's it. It's a must have.

Yes, they pressed a very small number of copies of Thou Shalt Not and when they're gone, they're gone.

In 20 years, it'll be what something like Drood is today.

Altough I think Drood has more hope of being reissued than Thou Shalt Not. I look forward to using my Thou Shalt Not disc for my retirement fund.

I have it too. I love it!! I saw the show and loved it. It's a shame what happened to it. It should be released. Especially considering Marc Anthony and Sara Ramirez are on it. It would sell.
