This might actually be a CD-R copy of it. After looking more closely it has TV clips of Capeman appearances on it as well.

Not rare at all. Pick up a reasonably priced copy on Amazon Marketplace.

Posted: 10/3/05 at 5:13pmIs Tenderloin OBC extremely rare? I see Bobby has it listed as one his top 3.

Yes, it's rare.
DRG seems to have access to reissuing Angel's catalogue, so maybe it's coming back sometime in the near future. The OBC is much better than the awful Encores! recording, also by DRG. A must have, I think. One of the greatest scores of a flop.

It appears there is one on eBay at $19.99 with no bids. I may have to watch that one.

Posted: 10/3/05 at 5:22pmCareful with those Ebay out of print cast albums. Everyone tends to bid in the last few minutes and it can go pretty high.

The two rare recordings I am in need of are..
- Goodtime Charley (With Ann Reinking and Joel Grey)
- New Girl In Town (With Gwen Verdon)
The prices online for these two are too expensive for me, but I need these.

Which Witch can't be THAT rare - I bought it at Footlight before it closed for about 20 bucks. It's OK....
I agree that Blondel is pretty good - I love the monks.

Tir Na Nog: my friend in New York lives next door to Paul Simon. He also wrote a musical with Jim Steinman who had the third greatest flop (after Capeman and Carrie) with Dance of the Vampires. Great guy apparently...
You know I love the flops: so give me a buzz about the double album (and anything about Carrie as well: because I've been ditched so many times in so many deals I have never been able to get it. Perhaps its The Curse of Carrie? LOL)
