Well, Sinatra's "Luck Be a Lady" is classic.

Jellylorum, are you talking about her disco version? If so, love it!

I think THE best cover of any Broadway song I've heard is Idina Menzel's acoustic "I'll Cover You." It absolutely kills me.

Nathan Lane's Doo Wop version of "Sue Me"
Bernadette Peters - "I'm Flying" and "You Could Drive A Person Crazy"

Tom Waits – “Somewhere”
Audra McDonald – “Any Place I Hang My Hat...”
Sinatra – “Once Upon a Time”
Charlie Rich – “Ol’ Man River”

And I think it’s actually a cover of someone else’s version, but Emmylou Harris does a fantastic country/rock “Diamond’s Are a Girl’s Best Friend” on one of her eighties albums.

I love all those re-mixed/Techno/dance club versions of "One Night in Bangkok"
