I wonder how Coolkid is doing since apparently he is there. I could say something really horrible (Not just about him), but it would probably get me banned or put on suspension.

Newspaper guy was one of the highlights of standing outside the Nederlander.
I personally can't wait until they start painting tomorrow and all the rentheads go nuts.

LOL!
Defentally better then trumpet guy who plays "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" outside of Bank Of America theatre in Chicago.
Goodbye, RENT. All thanks possible for your existence.
Yeah, all the hardcore Rentheads will have a Conniption when they paint over the walls.
I think being there tomorrow will be better than the show.

They're painting over the walls?

I agree. Pity I have to work, because I imagine many of the rentheads outside don't plan on leaving tonight. They've got to "protect" the theater.
They're painting over the walls?
Of course. Do you really think Guys and Dolls (or whatever the next show is) wants all that graffiti on the walls outside the theater??????

Expect the area in & around Time Square to be filled with LOUD SOBBING MOOS.
Think the crazies will all re-write if they paint over it? Happened before..

Apparently it was amazing. Nothing special happened at the end except Season Of Love encore with old cast members, but that's just what I heard.

LOL!!
I'm sure they'll be some who will chain themselves to the theater in protest! It'll be funny to see what they do once the theater is painted and renovated.
What about the ones who want to light an eternal flame outside? That could get messy...we saw the fire on the roof yesterday.
Then there's the crowd that wants the Nederlander to become a permanent shrine to the show/ Jonathan Larson.

Makes ya wonder what those people have as day jobs...
Those who want the name of the theatre to the Larson Theatre piss me off. No other composer is allowed a theatre until Sondheim has one.
Wasn't there some online petition floating around to rename the theater in Jonathan Larson's memory?? I remember seeing something about it? I don't think it gained much support....
