I'm sure what (s)he meant is that if it really was just about Bette wanting to rest or not risk a live telecast, surely they'd do something like "It Only Takes a Moment" or the Waiter's Gallop or even "Ribbons Down My Back," which don't feature her and are far more compelling than "Penny in My Pocket."

Seriously, the publicity is off the rails...but the actors still have a major social media blackout. It's so strange in 2017 to not have actors talking about their show.
