Scott Rudin to Produce New Wallace Shawn Play
Scott Rudin is producing Wallace Shawn’s new play, What We Did Before Our Moth Days, Off-Broadway this winter.
The play, directed by André Gregory, will star Hope Davis, Maria Dizzia, John Early and Josh Hamilton. It’s set for a 12-week run at the Greenwich House Theater starting Feb. 4., with an opening night planned for March 5.

Times are hard. Barry Diller is producing too, not that that's good or bad. Shawn worked for Woody Allen in one of his more recent films,also.

Shawn is a man of contradictions, ranging from the bad (defending Woody Allen) to the awesome (he's a raging leftist who speaks articulately about Palestine's right to exist). Some might find his stances......................inconceivable.
He's known and worked with Scott for years, and this play was teased months ago when Scott first announced his plan to return.
