Rushing Avenue Q/ Puffs

i’m planning on rushing both Avenue Q and Puffs next week at the New World Stages Stage. Anyone know if going 30 minutes before box office opens would be sufficient? The shows I’m looking at are for Wednesday and Thursday so less busy days.

Also, it’s been awhile since I’ve been to this theatre. I know it’s on 50th but is there somewhere in particular to stand while waiting?

45 minutes before opening is best and double-check the box office times per day as they are different throughout the week. Simply start the line outside the glass doors, or join existing line, and make sure to bring your valid student ID for Puffs.

TodayTix has $17 tickets for Puffs.

Thanks! Do you know what kind of seats they give for Puffs? I was hoping for anything other than the obstructed view ones on the side Mezz.

I would get to the box office early. Q only does 10 rush tickets in the first row. At least last I knew they did.

thanks! Unfortunately not available for the date I want. Same with groupon and Goldstar. Tickets are available there for $35.

This week is Spring Break for a lot of NYC area schools so I would definitely allow for extra time

you might wanna double check. last I remember puffs only offered a student rush

thanks! I’m thinking of getting groupon tickets for Avenue Q for $45 front Orch, no fees. Sounds like the tickets are very limited and I may have a hard time getting there very early as I am flying in that morning...getting to LGA at 10:30am. The box office opens at 1pm. And I was going to stop and try and pick up a rush ticket to be more chill at 2pm first. Plus getting to hotel, dropping bags.

Correct. I have an ISIC (international student identity card) which I hope works as I’m Canadian.

Its not open till 1pm on Wednesdays.
Got front row!

Unfortinately I won't be attending personally. I got the tickets for DH and a pal.

I will be seeing Be More Chill abd The Prom today.

Luckily I've already seen Avenue Q 4 times already!

Good to know the seats were great. I still need to see this before it closes next month.
