I realize that this is probably beating a dead horse and why bump this, but I just wanted to share my opinion.

I think Shrek would have fared better if they stuck closer to the Seattle incarnation of the show. It had a certain unique flare there, different from the movie. Yes, some of the Broadway changes were necessary, but thinking back on my experience at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, there was something magical and quirky about the show that was absent in the Broadway production. Just my opinion which may or may not be bashed lol.
