Instead Karen comes back will without stage presence, but now she's gained an annoying and uncontrollable vibrato.

Laura Osnes as Katherine McPhee's sister! :3
Hey that's more than she had before ok.
The scene where Karen is being attacked will be beautiful. She'll sing an out of body version of "Breakaway" while watching herself being beat to a pulp.
They've already used Breakaway. She can sing A Moment Like This.
How about the Was Not Was classic "Walk the Dinosaur"?
Can't wait for Jack Donaghy's appearance for when they decide to adapt "Bombshell" into a made for TV movie!

They can do a 30 Rock tie in! Liz Lemon and Derek will have a sordid romance, while Kenneth and Tom secretly develop feelings for each other. Jenna Maroney will compete with Ivy for the role of Marilyn while Jack and Jerry have an epic power struggle that explodes into a lush musical number - a duet written by Kerigan and Lowdermilk that will close out the season.

why are broadway people so hateful about a tv show about Broadway?...i personally wish NBC would move SMASH after THE VOICE then the ratings will compell them to have a 3rd season...otherwise it's going away and yet you all are so hateful of the one show that tries to show what makes or not, a real broadway musical...hateful!!!
snark is not attractive!
Just because its about broadway, we have to like it?
I also like candy corn but Ill make fun of a show about candy corn if it isn't any good.
"snark is not attractive!"
It depends on who's being snarky.
broadwaybaby, get over it. Please. Move on.
There is nothing wrong with people, who adore Broadway, feeling cheated and disappointed that a show originally touted as being a show for us is not accurate, not interesting, and not good.
I'm sick of the BullSH*T that the only opinions people can voice have to be positive and unanimous.

I would like abrasive actress Megan Mullaley to play herself and for all the other characters who are gay men or straight women to tell her how much they loved Will & Grace when they were little.
They should have Jonathan Groff, as Jimmy's understudy, then Jonathan kills Jimmy and takes over the role.

I love SMASH and love fantasizing about season 3.
