see some people would totally go off on this post saying that the name doesn't matter only talent bla bla.
but I think Broadway peeps know that USUALLY (depending on talent) your name is a huge part of your career . I mean , yes , sometimes a Quvenzhane Wallis can get success with a difficult name but some names just don't sound or look right to be on a marquee and yes, Samantha Barks is one of those.

I have a weird surname and would certainly change it if I were a performer--then tell my friends and family-no one else needs to know.Wonder what Disneyland would have been called if Walt had a different surname?
