I need a senior quote to put under my senior picture in the yearbook. Any suggestions? I'm a 17 year old guy.
this is real dumb but i was thinking "All you have to do is dream" from DREAMGIRLS.
Hm.. the first thing I thought of was "It was a ball, it was a blast, and it's a shame it couldn't last."

look at Merrily We Roll Along... lot's of stuff in there.
mine was:
time goes by
everything else keeps changing
you and i, we get continued next week.
"So what happens now? Where am I going to?"
-Evita
"If you know what you want, then you go and find and you get it." -Into the Woods
"hold your head up high, never be afraid to shine"
-Taboo
"We cannot know what will occur,
Just make our journey worth the taking,
And pray we're wiser than we were,
In the beginning..."
-Children of Eden
"Everybody's playing the game, but nobody's rules are the same"

I've always thought there were some great ones in Sunday in the Park. Not sure if they're that pertinant to the cause, but I like them.
I chose mine from INTO THE WOODS..
You may know what you need, but to get what you want, better see that you keep what you have.
"I have a heart like the sea, a million dreams are in me."
Miss Saigon
You have anything against Wicked? Cause I kinda like any part from "For Good."
Or else maybe "The Internet is for Porn" from Avenue Q. :) I kid, I kid.

I put in BRIGADOON's senior bio:
"Anything Can Happen If You Let It. Anything Can Happen If You Just Imagine. If You Chase Your Dreams You Won't Regret It."--- Mary Poppins.

My senior quote is "It was a ball, it was a blast, and it's a shame it couldn't last." from Dirty Rotten Number
Mine were:
"In our desensetized society, the artist, the Bohemians, poor, discarded, 'others', recovering addicts - all are more in touch with their humanness than the so called mainstream.
Despite everything -
Humanness,
Love,
Life,
Art,
Survivor.
-Jonathan Larson- (it's from some of his notes that are in the Rent bible)
and:
"We're actors - we're the opposite of people!"
-Tom Stoppard's Rozencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead-
I think I had a Douglas Adams one too, but those were the two theatre-related ones. I had a friend that used "The best of times is now," from La Cage.
Hope that helps!
I actually quoted Wicked for mine. I used "I'm through accepting limits 'cause someone says they're so, some things I can not change, but 'til I try I'll never know."
I'm not the biggest Wicked fan, but I was so tired of school by that point and it was during the height of my Wicked fascination, and I don't regret using it.

"What's as intriguing or half so fatiguing as what's out of reach?"
I want to use "If you reach for the stars, all you get are the stars, but we've found a whole new spin, if you reach for the heavens, you get the stars thrown in." - Mary Poppins.
If you're going for shock value: "Yeah you're ****ed alright, and all for spite, you can kiss your sorry ass goodbye." - Spring Awakening

I was tempted to use a quote from a musical for my senior quote. Instead I ended up using a quote from Kathy Griffin haha:
"I was raised right... I talk about people behind their backs. It's called manners."
Perfectly personified high school for me.
Anyway, back to the topic. The one I was going to use was:
"I want you to know the time that we've spent, how great it's been and how much it's meant." - Avenue Q
