I didn't have this problem last night nor this morning on the rewatch.

A great thing about seeing it on a big screen is you get to watch with a live audience. If you can't be at the actual event, it's the next best thing. It's really fun to watch a "movie" where the audience applauds the numbers!

This will go down as one of the great recorded Broadway performances, much like *Sunday in the Park with George*, *Into the Woods* and *Passion*. I can't express how much I love this production, it might be my favorite production of a musical I've seen. There is just such a sense of joy throughout. The cast is pure perfection. I saw Laura Benanti's performance twice on Broadway and was overjoyed to see that the broadcast so adeptly captured what is one of the greatest musical comedy performances of my generation. Zachary Levi definitely has gotten funnier and looser from when I saw him in previews (he was wonderful then, too), and I do think he played it funnier last night than when I saw him last Friday--completely agree with Ljay that he is giving an old-fashioned musical theatre performance, and I love his chemistry with Benanti. They capture Hepburn and Tracy, Colbert and Gable, Barrymore and Lombard, without ever falling into imitations. Everyone is spectacular. And if Krakowski was perfect in previews, she has somehow gotten even better, finding laughs and pathos and sexiness in Ilona. I think her rendition of "A Trip to the Library" should be taught in musical theatre classes, the woman is a genius.

Congratulations to Scott Ellis, the cast, the creative team, the Roundabout Theatre,  and Broadway HD for making this happen!

A review of the stream showed up in the New York Times this afternoon. It's positive, but a little strange (and I don't really know what the last sentence means).

Apologies if this has already been covered, but does a monthly subscription to BroadwayHD allow me to stream She Loves Me or will I need to pay the $9.99, subscription or not?

You still pay the 9.99. Which allows you unlimited views for this week.

I only paid the $9.99 and I watched it last night AND earlier today, so I am assuming it's unlimited viewings until next Thursday. I am beyond in love with this production...

Agree with above posters. You have to pay the $9.99 for this offering, available for unlimited viewings through July 7th. I just started and lemme tell ya, it's glorious! I've seen it live twice before and I am loving the camerawork.... and no heads in my way! In addition to that, the sound is much clearer, since the band is sitting above the orchestra split between house right and house left, it tended to 1) muffle/overpower the actors on stage and 2) wasn't well-balanced.

I just wish my internet was better so that I could always get a clear picture.

Yes, I worded that poorly -- I didn't want that poster to think it would be A week(from purchase), but the week from yesterday's release.

I was slightly underwhelmed when I saw it in May, but this made me fall in love with it. I wish I could see it live again now that I fully appreciate how delightful it is.

Ha! I feel the same way. For some reason it did feel underwhelming live because I guess my expectations were super high after reading everyone's raves. It's a delightful show, but I'm finding myself laughing way harder here than in the theater and feeling utterly enchanted. And also the stage magic is so mesmerizing; I love how they panned out to show the unfolding and rotating set. I always love the art in the technical stuff, and this stream lets one really appreciate all of it.

I actually blame the poor sound design for why I didn't enjoy it as much the first time. I thought it just felt dated when I saw it live, but I definitely don't feel that way right now. I think I spent too much time struggling to hear all the words when I sat up close, and too much time struggling to see when I sat far back. Now I can just relax and bask in the magic!

I watched it again tonight to see it from the beginning. Definitely was able to appreciate it even more this time. Even though I sat in the front row of the mezzanine, it was great being able to see the details of the set even better. I just love the folding out of the shop. It reminds me of a cute doll house or jewelry box.

Sadly I can't go access. Apparently if you are from outside the United States you have to use PayPal and I don't use PayPal now for over 15 years. ( a few bad experiences + a long email *discussion*.

So No show for me. angrycrying

I paid for this weeks ago on Paypal.  And I went to watch it tonight on my computer, and it's asking me to pay again and I have no shows in my "library".  My bank account confirms my BroadwayHD purchase of 9.99.   Apparently, many people cannot access it either.

I watched this tonight and it was just as delightful and charming as it was when I saw it in May. Laura Benanti is one of the best singing actresses we have, and it was so lovely getting to see her facial expressions up close. I'm so glad this production has been preserved.

It's not the most user-friendly site. The Home screen makes it look as if you need to continue to pay. The show will not show up in anyone's Library as it has not been edited into its final version yet. Try this:

1. Log in

She Loves Me streaming
2. Do a search for "She Loves Me" in the Search field (upper right corner).
She Loves Me streaming
3. From the search results, select the one on the left.
She Loves Me streaming
4. Select "Watch Now"

If that doesn't work for you, there is a FAQ section in the "How To Watch" section. Look for, "What if I have a question or concern about billing?"

Thank you so much for doing that, but it's the same thing.  Takes me to their purchase page.  This is such a disaster since no one will work there until Tuesday due to the weekend, which means I have only 2 days to figure it out before they shut it down.  There is no FAQ section for me.  Im on a Dell and using Chrome.  There is just "About" "In the Spotlight" "Subscribe" "How to Watch" "News" "My Account".  There is no record in my library that I ever purchased it even though I did on June 25th.

Thanks anyways.

That's okay- just enter the code and leave the rest (credit card information) blank and press purchase- it'll direct you to a recipt for 0.00$ and a button to "watch now"

at least that's how it worked for me.

Loved this, my only super nitpicky negative is Laura top B in Vanilla Ice Cream- it's too short!! I wanted to bask in it for so much longer.

found this, it's the reading of this production from a few years ago, with Kelli O'hara as Amalia- THAT NOTE!! perfection-

maybe that was poorly recorded, but Kelli sounded a bit fatigued on that note, and a little too breathy (not enough breath support)

It's kind of hidden. It's at the bottom of the "How to Watch" section. There's an email address you can contact. They suggest that you should email them using the email account that you registered under. They also warn not to list any bank account numbers (or I'd assume, in your case, no PayPal account information) within the email, for your protection.

RE: a record of your purchase, you should have received an email titled, "Your BroadwayHD LLC receipt". That title is followed by an 8-digit number (4 digits, a hyphen, and another 4 digits). It would have been sent to the email account you registered under.

If you email them with the details that you've posted here, they should be able to help you. I would guess (and hope) that at the very least, they would be able to credit you with the ability to watch the show when it becomes available at a later date.

Best of luck! I feel bad that this was such a mess for you.

I disagree, she crescendoed into it (at least to my untrained ears) pretty efortlessly- into a light elevated note. It's very possible she didn't take in enough air beforehand- as she gasped for it audiobly right after. But still it was so pretty.

Laura's note is gorgeous too (though in general her tone is a little heavier than I enjoy- but her voice is terrific regardless of my preference) it's just so damn short and I don't understand why :/

If you haven't heard Barbara Cook hold that note on the OBC, I'd highly recommend it. Ms. Cook "invented" that note, as it was not originally written in the score.

When relaying the anecdote to Terry Gross in her recent Fresh Air interview, Gross responded, "because you could!" ...and that's so true. laugh

Oh yes- that's one of my most listened to OBCs on my phone!
I didn't know she invented that note though- ahh perfect!
that lady is just glorious, a true inspiration of mine... I can't find the words to describe how much I enjoy her voice.

Her Glitter and Be Gay is also a favourite of mine- her voice is just... uhh out of this world.

I feel like Laura could hold that note even just a little bit longer- it doesn't sound strained or thin... why Laura why?
