Apparently he was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. I think he seriously needs help.

I guess he got the criminal trespass charge because he refused to leave, even when asked many, many times.

The way it reads on TMZ it's possible he thought Studio 54 reopened with some cabaret act.
"Shia Lebeouf was detained by cops after acting crazy in a New York City club ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
Shia was at a cabaret show at the legendary Studio 54 Thursday night ... when he was smoking inside -- which is against the law -- and "alarming people" by his conduct by being extremely loud.
Police came and handcuffed the actor and taken to the cop shop, where's he's being held.
It's unclear if Labouf will be charged with a crime."

Poor man. He clearly has demons to battle.
Cabaret is getting SO much press, and none of it relying on Cumming or Williams.
This morning, NBC4 NY had a reporter broadcasting live from 54th St & 8th Ave outside the theatre with the local police precinct in the background... Poor woman was having to report of road construction / jack hammering! I wasn't aware this story needed ro be THAT important.
