Doesn't she? That's strange, it's one of broadway's "Quintessential(sp?) musicals" It'd be a disgrace to not have it in your bio. Anywho, she was great and would love to see her in the part again!

Thanks, now all I need to do is see her in Wicked. I'm not the biggest fan of the show but, I definitly wouldn't pass up a chance to see it. I think she would make a great Glinda, except she has a killer vibrato when she's in her upper register. But other then that she'd be perfect.

I can't imagine Shoshana as Glinda but that's because I don't want to. I just don't think she fits. If her high voice is as lovely as you say I'm sure she could vocally do it but I just can't imagine her as a blonde.lol

i can defiently imagine that, i think shoshana would kick ass as galinda she deifnelty has those notes (idina didnt) bu shosha does so yeah i could c her doing it for a full run (but elphaba is her rols,its a lot more feirce) and sheFEIRCE

If they did do that though they should put it on DVD and make it a CD legally.

I don't know musical notes that well though. So maybe someone can explain

Good point swifty. Just because we can't imagine it means nothing. I read some interview with JLT that said she could never imagine herself blonde either.

i actaully could see her as a blonde. She would have to bleach those eyebrows though.

She was a beautiful Christine, I had the pleasure of having her spit on me too! I was in the front row, and remember her very distinctivley trying to stay in key, she kept moving her jaw up and down. Wierd but it worked.

I think it'd be very interesting to see them do a one night switch. I definitly think Shosh could pull it off, same with JLT.

That might be funny, and yes, she said she would like to try it for a day. They should do some role switch one day. We should have suggested it a long time ago.

I bet she could pull it off. I had a clip of "It's Glinda now" (the scene where she changes her name to Glinda...if you couldn't tell) with Shoshana on my iPod, and I let a few of my friends listen to it-and they said they thought that Shoshana actually sounded more like Glinda (higer pitched voice maybe).

Run on sentence?

I totally think Shoshana and JLT can pull it off. JLT has a really good belting voice--especially during Popular.

I would love to see Sho play Glinda. I think she'd get a better response playing Glinda than she did when she went on as Nessa that one time when she was still the Standby.

Yeah if they ever do that they need to broadcast it live. I definitly think it could be done. I dont think it would have worked with Idina and Kristin because, to me, their voices are radically different and I just couldn't see Kristin singing Defying Gravity or Idina singing Popular. But with JLT and Shosh I think it would work.
