I've had tickets for April 25th since December, and just went to double check, and there is no performance listed for that date on Telecharge. In fact there are no performances listed from April 25th - the 28th (opening), However the Shuffle Along website DOES lists performances from 4/25-4/27. Anyone know whats up?
Just guessing here but it opens on the 28th. Might be because press will be in and maybe they are honoring tickets for the week Audra was out sick.
I have had a ticket for "Shuffle Along" on Monday evening, April 25 since December too. I'll call Telecharge on Sunday morning and report back.

Thank you!
Could be a combination of being sold-out and press performances?
I do recall viewing tickets for that week a couple of days ago...showing very limited availability left in the mezzanine only.
I called Telecharge this morning, Sunday, April 10, and the person I spoke to said that they did not have a concrete answer and the Shuffle Along box office is closed today. They said the performances don't show up for them either, but they don't have any special notices regarding those evenings. The supervisor said it could be sold out performances or press nights as others discussed here. I will call TC back tomorrow, Monday, when the box office is open. A BW chat board member who is going to the show today could inquire at the box office. Otherwise, stay tuned.
Thanks again StageDoor3!
I'm surprised the problem posed in this thread hasn't been blown to a bigger proportion yet. A discrepancy in understanding whether performances might even happening—especially mere weeks away—is kind of a big deal. Really rather shocked here.
I spoke to Telecharge. The person I spoke to said the performances on April 25-28 are sold out so TC took them off the calendar. My ticket for Monday night, April 25 is fine, so your's should be also TBone.

This sounds so shady to me. I've never heard of anything like this happening before.
I just looked. Picked the 25th and it said no seats available. I was able to check for seats on that date though.
Thanks for calling StageDoor.
I agree that this was pretty weird.

shady....? really??? between ticket-buyers, press comps and production comps, the show is clearly sold out and will remain that way. fail to see how that is shady...

Of course it's sold out—it's strange for any show, though, to remove (even temporarily) without a trace any information about upcoming performances. You can see seating information about dozens of Hamilton performances that are sold-out. It's about audience transparency, and reading how this unfolded is simply strange to me.

but you can still check that date for tickets. you just cannot pick any tickets.....

This wasn't the case a couple of hours ago.

okay. perhaps that was a glitch, malfunction, or some kind of human error.... talk about paranoid.

JM, have you read any of the above conversation? Get off my case.

if you think me questioning the overreaction of paranoia is being on your case, i don't want to see how you react when someone actually is. cheers
conceirge: Or maybe try not making a big deal about nothing. I understand concern on the ticket holders part, but what "shady" thing could this be? They hoped they'd dupe a lot of people into NOT showing up?
I have tickets for the evening of April 27...a source told me that the show is sold out the week of April 25.

This is just a guess, perhaps they did not hold back seats for the press and the producers told Telecharge block sales for those dates until they figured it out. Those dates are now visible, I am thinking Monday night may be press night because there are no seats available. There are seats available for the other performances, not very many though.
