Anyone know when her last performance in LOVE NEVER DIES will be? I'm seeing it March 19 and really hope I get to see her!
I thought she was great in Music in the Air. I'm really excited to see her in Master Class!

Meh... I don't know if I can see her taking on Tyne Daly.
The Little Mermaid and Love Never Dies are hardly great barometers to measure someone's acting ability.
She was far and away the best thing about LND.
Isn't this a supporting role that barely has a few lines? I saw the play over a decade ago, so I could be mistaken.
I won't be seeing it again for sure though, Master Class kept dragging and dragging. Even though I got to see the fantastic Academy Award-nominee Norma Aleandro as Maria Callas.
Hardly "barely has a few lines". Audra McDonald won a Tony Award for the part.
Personally I love the play and can't wait to see what an amazing actress like Ms Daly does with the role.

The production in DC was wonderful. I hope Ta'u Pupu'a (Tony) is on board. His voice was beautiful and gave me chills.
I just read elsewhere that after this "rumor on the street" is that she is going to do "Rebecca" possibly set for fall 2011. Anyone else hear this?
actormcfamous, Unfortunately, her final performance in Love Never Dies is March 5th.
I don't really think Rebecca is likely to happen now.

REBECCA is supposed to still happen....they're putting in another reading of the material in NY within these neighboring months. The show is just having a tough time finding an appropriate venue.
And I am glad the show has taken its time to continue to do workshops and readings in NY and London...it's a good show, but it did need a little work before continuing on in commercial life.

Master Class is only a limited engagement isn't it? Plenty of time to do both if Rebecca started rehearsals around November. The NY Post article mentioned opening Rebecca in 2012 - I'd assume they'd go into rehearsals as soon as Master Class is finished, or perhaps Sierra only signed a limited contract?
Who knows! This girl is busy though! I think she has better acting ability than LND and The Little Mermaid have shown - although she made LND convincing to me, and its a hot mess.
I just heard about her doing Rebecca too. I think it was mentioned in Riedel's column this morning.
Here is it:
As a result, Sprecher's scrapped plans for a London production; "Rebecca" will go straight to Broadway next year.
Michael Blakemore will direct the $16 million show, which will star Sierra Boggess -- of "The Little Mermaid," whose tail would have come in handy at the Shaftsbury -- in the title role.
Sprecher's looking for a theater in New York, a theater under which, he hopes, the Hudson doesn't flow.

So Zambello got booted off the show, huh?

She's playing Rebecca and not the second Mrs. de Winter?

Probably just Riedel making errors again.

Yeah, that is definitely Ridel not checking his facts. Rebecca doesn't appear in the show at all, just in name. Sierra is playing the second wife, she's always called Mrs. de Winter or "I" in the show.
I wasn't positive that Rebecca NEVER appears in the show, so I wasn't quite ready to snark that there is no title role.

No I totally understand. I just re-read the book recently, and I've listened to German recording (not fluent in German, so maybe I missed it if she appears) and haven't noticed her.
Rebecca's character and her presence/memory is what makes things go hay-wire. She's mentioned a good bit, and the biggest storyline of the show involves her directly. She's there, but she isn't - if that makes sense.
