First, I saw the play Off Broadway 4 times. Loved it.
Agree the poster is lacking. I hadn't seen the Playbill cover for Broadway until posted here. I do like the succession of pics from 3 girls around him and then ending with a solo picture of him alone. That tells you something about the play. What I don't like is that there isn't a picture of him with either of other two male actors in the show that play multiple parts in the show including his boyfriends. Now the title of the play tells me it's a gay-theme play, Significant Other. But the Playbill artwork doesn't show that at all. It feels too safe, like the Producers wanted to keep the "gay thing" down. I don't like that.
That said, I can't wait to see it again.

"It's a play that anyone can relate to,"
Anyone? Perhaps anyone who's an entitled, self-absorbed, obnoxious, shallow, whining navel gazer. Otherwise...... no.
Maybe I'm out of the loop, but since when is "significant other" a gay term?

"Significant other" is not a gay term. In fact, within the context of the show, it has a dual meaning: Jordan's desire for companionship and his role as a "significant other" in the lives of his female friends, a role that is usurped when they couple off.
"Significant other" isn't a gay term, per se, but it is used as a euphemism by people who, for whatever reason, are uncomfortable with explicitly identifying a same-sex partner with one of the common labels (aka boy/girlfriend, wife, husband, etc). "Life partner" is along the similar lines. It's sex and gender-neutral and doesn't assume anything about relationship or marital status.
...I most often think of it as being used by an aunt who doesn't quite know how to address the fact her nephew is dating a boy, or something.
I was looking at Playbill Vault today and it looks like they are switching back to the original playbill design!

I used that code for the mezz yesterday at the box office. Such a great deal especially given the size of the Booth.
I got a $34 seat too! Such a great deal (cheaper than most lottos and rushes these days!)

Does anyone know if this is a limited run? I'm coming in Sept for a long weekend and have Hamilton,Hello Dolly, and Miss Saigon tickets for Friday and Saturday and would love to Significant Others that Sunday.

It's not a limited run, but who knows if it'll last that long. They're selling tickets through July right now.

After Eight, so you're telling me you've never been into a crush or a hot work guy way out of your league? That you thought maybe could be into you? I know no one who hasn't been through that. And the other guy he dates is just a normal adorable guy who he's just as interested in. The show is about gnawing loneliness, and growing up to accept it. Unless you've been dating your high school sweet heart your whole life, I have no doubt you related to the main character. Otherwise, why would you have such a visceral reaction?
