They can make anything APPEAR to be glamorous or not. You can show derelicts shooting up in an empty lot or you can show gorgeous people in a fabulous penthouse with a 360 view of NYC in the background passing around some coke. The latter appears to be glamorous because of the way it's portrayed.

In fact, I'm going as far as to say that an occasional line or smoking weed in a glamorous setting IS glamorous. I bet many of us have done it and enjoyed the experience. I was on the club scene in the 80's, did all that, and it was glamorous.

I'm saying that those behaviors can be intoxicating and glamorous looking on the screen, although in reality not so much if taken too far. Recreational comes to mind, lol!

DVR Ratings for Week #31 just posted...

Smash went from a .4 rating to a 1.0 rating and topped the list with a 150% increase. Hannibal was 2nd with a 90% increase and The Following was 3rd with a 75% increase.
