So What Do You Think are Stritch's 'Conditions'?

To quote Michael Bennett from another thread:

"She might need a dressing room on stage level, she might need a driver to and from the theatre, she might need designated physical therapy / massage therapy, she might require a certain vacation schedule, etc., etc., etc.

There are lots of things that she might need. It sounds like they would likely be things more geared at making the gig comfortable for a woman her age - it doesn't sound like its an issue of money or billing.

I would be surprised if her demands are ridiculous or outlandish"

What Bennett said.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad

She may want a limited engagement, too.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Please, can we?

"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

She might need a dressing room on stage level

As far as that goes, her dressing room would be on the ground floor. Angela currently has the stage level dressing room just off stage left. It's a good size with room for visitors. I assume whoever takes over for Madame Armfeldt would get that dressing room anyway.

Word on the street has it that her demands are:

1. During the banquet scene, she gets to sing "Here's to the ladies who lunch."

2. A night with Jude Law

3. A guest starring role on Glee
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
