I would love to see him take a stab at Bobby (whatever happened to that gay Company? Did anything come of that reading?) or maybe Guido Contini. I would see him do Floyd Collins, as well. In addition to the previously mentioned roles, of course.

Producers could hit a goldmine if they found a vehicle for him and Lady Gaga to do together. I'm not really a fan of Gaga or what she did at the Oscars, but people went ga ga over it.
George in Sunday in the Park is an inspired idea. I also love the idea of Bobby in Company.
I'd also love to see him take on Billy Bigelow in Carousel.

In all seriousness, I'd love to see him originate a role in a new musical. I'd love to see him in a Next to Normal or Rent-type show directed by Michael Mayer.

George?
I can't see him singing that part as well as it deserves to be sung. Claybourne Elder dragged the role down in the recent DC production because of his sub-par singing.
He should be Joe Gillis in a Sunset Blvd movie.
That's an excellent idea. And Ellen can be his Norma!
Naked Boys Singing.
is that a real picture of him, or is it a fake

Stone in the long overdue revival of "City of Angels" and Matthew Morrison as Stine. And then after six months, they can trade roles.
