Just a reminder: catch the Sondheim 80th Birthday Concert at Lincoln Center from February TONIGHT on PBS at 8pm! I loved it in person, and can't wait to see it in HD! (As opposed to my last row, top tier, partial view seat that night!)
The search function revealed only the DVD release, and I quickly scanned 3 pages, so apologies if this has been reminded already.
Happy Thanksgiving to us!
Sounds great! I'll be watching!
I was there the first night -- it's an incredible concert. I can't wait to watch it again

Where I am at (NW Ohio) it is on at 9 tonight. Are most places showing it at 8?
It's at 9 here in the city. I have PBS on right now and they just noted it on the schedule.

Either they're lip-syncing, or the voice and picture are out of register on cable again.
I was at the first night of the concert and there was no lip-syncing, so it must be a register issue. I'm not having that problem on my TV, though.
It looks great so far!

What happened to Midge? She always was so "entertaining" on those pledge breaks. This woman just looks lost.
I agree. I loved Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley's number. :)
It's just as good as I remember! I wonder what night this is from -- I know the West Side Story number was the first night when I was there...
^It's a mix of both nights.
THIS IS AMAZING! Michael, George and Patti - that was fantastic
although prob could have done without the dance number from Reds...
We're a little behind (we had to watch Modern Family!) - listening to Audra and Nathan Gunn do Too Many Mornings - THAT is what heaven sounds like.
I am in Denver and Audry and Nathan are on here also. Had the out of sync issue with "America". It seems to have corrected itself. I am in heaven right now.
Marin Mazzie's Losing My Mind was gorgeous. Those last lines were stunning.

Watching Elaine Stritch watch Patti LuPone sing that song then hug her afterwards was amazing.
PiraguaGuy, that was my favorite moment so far.
And Audra's Glamorous Life is just stunning.
ugh, Donna Murphy tore it up. She's unreal.
"Sunday" made me cry. And all of the women's songs were amazing.
Patti knocked that outta the park.
