Saw a posting on Facebook that SPIDER-MAN just stopped the show because "two set pieces crashed together."
Any details?

Shocker Shocker.
I don't think they've had a night without a stop yet...

Here's where they referenced.
I attended a performance last week where they did not stop the show. There have been plenty of "non-stop" shows.

Posted: 1/7/11 at 9:48pmThe show was stopped for a minute or so on Wednesday night in Act I, right before the first flying sequence. The only other mishap was when one of the weavers was left hanging in the beginning of the show while Arachne sang "Behold and Wonder".

Posted: 1/7/11 at 10:16pmIt's a shame that people think the show is still still having major problems nightly, when it's been running pretty smoothly for weeks now, especially when there's been all the improvements and safeties put in. Let's focus on where the problem is. A dreadful Act Two.

And to 'be fair' it hasn't been running smoothly for weeks. Its running MORE smoothly, but stops do still happen. I saw it Xmas night and it was fine, but I remember not too long after wards there was at least one night (although I think it was two) that reported two stops.
But the bigger issue is DEFINITELY the show, not the stunts. (With which I was not overly impressed.)

According to the bumper for CBS News tonight, yes.

Act One from what I gathered is "decent" (far from good) and it's act two where the show sinks
I think they have had a few good shows where no pauses occurred. However, the stoppage seems to be happen on a every other night basis, something they REALLY need to work out before they open.

Posted: 1/7/11 at 11:06pmI was there on Wed evening and the 1 minute pause was only annoying due to the mass exodus to the restrooms. Perhaps they are hesitant to work on technical issues because there will be edits made to the book, score, and staging (I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a complete rewrite).

I also saw it without any stops, LOVED IT.
I thought Act one was wonderful. Act 2 did drag a bit but I saw it the first week and with the Arachne US.
Any news on which scene the problem was last night?

Posted: 1/8/11 at 12:33pmI was at the show. About a 10 min. Stop to fix the set in act one. Minor stop in act two. Sold out audience loved the show as did I. Thought it was spectacular with the exception of the shoe number which was a waste of time. Neil Patrick Harris was in the audience a few rows in front of us.

This is from Neil Patrick Harris's public Twitter.

Saw Spiderman musical last night. Won't review, as still in previews. Will say this: the two leads (@ReeveCarney & Jennifer Damiano) rock."
