Hello - I realize some posters are less than keen on these topics. I was hoping for some insight on a couple stage door experiences (yes realizing some have not taken place yet) both on crowd control and availability, I will be back in the city in the early winter:
- Queen of Versailles ( does Kristin Chenoweth come out/sign? Also how is the crowd)
- Ragtime (does Caissie levy come out?)
- Chess (does Lea Michele and Aaron Tviet come out sign? Crowd size and calmness?)
- Harry Potter (does Tom Felton sign ? )
I’ve honestly become crowd exhausted with the screams and pushing and stuff. I would love to stage door these, but at the same time if it’s a idina Menzel in if/then situation or Ricky Martin in evita - you wonder why some people have “pre show stage doored” Thanks for sharing your insight and experiences

Way too early to say anything about Chess and Tom Felton. I understand being anxious, but it's way to early to ask. Remember no one is ever obligated to stage door
QOV just had the first show yesterday and Kristin and F. Murray came out but did not sign. It was also absolutely crazy for a myriad of very fun reasons.
Considering she anchors the whole show and isn’t offstage that much, I would not expect her to be signing anything.

My friend and I stagedoored for two different Ragtime shows (first preview and a few days later) and neither Joshua nor Caissie came out. They also didn't come out when I stagedoored at NYCC.
You will see less and less actors' stage door for health and weather reasons as the Fall continues. No one owes anyone an autograph regardless of people thinking otherwise. I will never forget a middle-aged man screaming and stomping his feet when Jeremy and Eva didn't come out last year. Wild.
Not that it means anything, but Chenoweth regularly signed after QOV in Boston.
