Ok... Last night I went to see Ghost for the second time. I had a handmade card and a handmade Ghost necklace to give to her. Caissie have me a card that night because we met the day before at Broadway in Bryant park and we spoke for a while. Thats why she have me a card. My card for her had a whole collage on the front of all the shows Caissie ever did. It was also typed up and 2 pages long. I gave my email at the bottom. My question is: Has anyone ever given a Broadway Actor/ Actress a letter at the stage door and actually gotton something back? Or just from Caissie Levy in general?

1. You're weird
2. That's not a gift, it's calling card from a stalker in the making.
3. That's so so creepy.
4. What were you expecting from her? A Hoops & YoYo E-Card thanking you for the creepy tribute to her life? Why don't you just Twat her since you run the twitter with a name that resembles her (which is so so creepy in itself).

FYI She told me the gift was beautiful, sweet and so special. And she told me she would email me :)

So if she told you she was going to email you what's the big deal? You know she had two shows today and maybe didn't have time to create a fake email address to send you an email aince there's no way on Gods green earth she's sending it from her actual email address.
But let me ask you - in your little bean-flick fantasy, are you two BFFs and take long walks talking (about her mostly) and stopping at all the cute stores and trying on clothes before stopping for afternoon tea somewhere and ending the day with lunch at a really nice restaurant where youre bombarded with fans approaching you but your heart melts when they're told "Guys, please. I'm with my friend! I can't sign and take pictures with you now!"
Did I leave anything out?
That's very sweet that you took the time to do that. It's always nice for an actor to know that someone supports their career so much.
You're under 16 right? You know, maybe cool down a little bit in the future, but I'm sure she was very happy to see a fan and all the love you put on that note.

"in your little bean-flick fantasy"
Oh, Jordan, you have such a way with words.
It reminds me of one of the many, many great lines from Heathers.
"The note'll give her shower-nozzle masturbation material for weeks"
What's your damage guys!?
Love Heathers. Ugh.

Aye! Not an appropriate response for the very young OP.
I'm very happy you got to give your gift to Caissie, she is a lovely performer. I don't know if she'll email you back but if she does, yay! At least you got to meet her, that should be exciting enough!

Not from Cassie (I think that she is very talented though, I love her voice on the cast recording of Hair) and not from the stage door either, but when I was 14 I wrote a fan letter to Kelli O'Hara. I was just starting to discover the world of musical theater, so I was a bit overenthusiastic (I actually found the draft of that fan letter the other day, and had a great laugh over it, my admiration was a bit over-the-top =P ). They didn't have any international reply coupons at my post office, but I included a SASE with my letter anyway, adding to the letter how sorry I was for the lack of stamps. Not only she replied (on pretty South Pacific stationnary!) how much she liked my letter, she also send an autographed headshot and SP playbill.
I think that your gift is sweet! I'm sure that there's some performer who feels differently, but if I was famous I'd feel flattered that someone would spend so much time for me. I think that if you limit yourself to one fan letter/small fan gift per performer per show, it's perfectly alright. When performers show their dressing rooms for Broadway.com, most have a small section dedicated to fan gifts, so I think that they appreciate it.
Has anyone ever tried to flick change into her cleavage at the stage door? Thats what I really want to know- I'm still distracted by it and I saw the show four weeks ago~!
Lighten up just a smidge, guys, OK? She's 13.
I wrote Linda Balgord a fan letter when she was doing CATS at the Wintergarden- I told her I was a fan (not really) and how I was having a really hard time getting my hands on a copy of the 3 track touring cd of Sunset Blvd. with her and Ron Bohmer- a few weeks later a signed copy of it was in my mailbox! I've been a fan of hers ever since!
Read the profile, Jordan. And yes, it could very well be a troll, but I don't think a troll would go to that detailed an effort at trolldom. It's just too tween.
Sorry, BWW burped. Double post.
Wow, you folks are vicious. OBVIOUSLY the OP is young and smitten and idealistic. REALLY no reason to trounce her/him.
Yes, there are some Bway actors that will respond in like. It's very sweet, and certainly increases your adoration of them.
Jordan, I don't think that's creepy. I find it very sweet that a fan took enough time to write a 2 page letter AND make a collage for an actress she spoke to for just a few minutes.
