re: Stephanie's final weekend!

She will be missed. I am still sad the producers didn't bring her into Chicago to close out the show.

Cool picture. She is definitely the best Elphaba in my book. Whats in store for her next?

"Whats in store for her next?"

She's in the Broadway-bound musical, 9 to 5, opposite another Wicked alum (Megan Hilty) and Allison Janney.

I will definately miss Steph. I had the pleasure of seeing her 11 times(tomorrow) and she was my first Elphie. Tomorrow is gonna be bittersweet for me. I'm gonna miss Steph terribly but I'm looking forward to seeing Kerry.

re: Stephanie's final weekend!

I saw her way back on tour and she really kicks ass in this role. She kicks ass in every role. I have never seen a bad performance by her. I'm excited for 9 to 5!

AH I KNEW THAT. Spacey me. I was blanking and thought that was Shoshana Bean, not sure why.

re: Stephanie's final weekend!

She was fierce this afternoon and defied the sh*t out of gravity, seriously my jaw dropped. The whole cast was really spot-on. I wish her nothing but the best as she does her last two shows and I can't wait to see her in 9 TO 5.

What a fun day! I'm a little jealous...

steph is amazing, its sad that this is her last weekend as Elphaba. She truly gives a new standard for all future Elphabas. I'm so excited for 9 to 5!!!

re: Stephanie's final weekend!

Here's wishing her the best! I'm personally still bitter - she should have gotten to originate the role of Elphaba, but I'll stop now.
Can't wait to hear upcoming tidbits about 9 to 5!
The Overture is part of the show, people. Please shut your pie hole.

re: Stephanie's final weekend!

I have to echo what everyone else has been saying. She is the best Elphaba, IMO.
Eos - well.. I'll just call her the original Elphie anyway, as she always will be that in my heart.

I feel very fortunate to have seen her 3 times, and it was different each time. Her performance only gets better and better. After how emotional she was when I saw her on May 11, I can only imagine how sad she’s gonna be tomorrow.

She’s truly one of the best performers I have ever seen. It will be a little weird with her not being in Wicked anymore, but I am very excited for 9 to 5!

I don't even want to imagine it and I'm gonna be there. I will have a perfect view of her too in For Good re: Stephanie's final weekend!.

I'm feeling kinda sad re: Stephanie's final weekend!

SJB was truly an all rounded performer who put in rock solid shows. GREAT ACTRESS, great singer. Plus she seems an awfully nice person off stage as well - the way she interacts with her fans and everything!

No airs about her! I absolutely adore her!

Kerry certainly has a hard time filling those shoes, but no worries, I'm certain that girl will do it! :) :)

I'm bumping this up one last time before the Tony spoilers take over the board.

I'll check back late tonight or tomorrow morning, can't wait to read your reviews :)

Still wish I had been able to see Steph in Wicked.

Best of luck as you journey on Steph!!!

re: Stephanie's final weekend!

Today was amazing. Stephanie really gave it her all, really the whole cast did. Her "Defying Gravity" was the single most incredible thing I've ever heard, she held one note longer than the ensemble and it was intense, as was her "No Good Deed". "For Good" was the saddest thing I've ever seen--even moreso than Annaleigh's.She didn't get a speech but you could tell it was by choice as she didn't even want to bow by herself. She was beyond incredible. I'm going to miss her so much!
