I think most of the people commenting are just bored and have nothing better to do...you can skip this show and go wait in line to see Hamilton for the 30th time! Bye buh. More Sunset BLVD, for me...I am thrilled that a legend like Glenn Close is back on Broadway with a show I adore and a 40 piece orchestra. Would I like to have Judy Kuhn finally on Broadway as Betty? Sure, but I understand it won't happen. That's it. I already bought tickets, the good seats are disappearing fast. I love to be able to see Glenn Close in this, she acts the crap out of the role and I think her voice is great. Remember that Faye Dunaway wasn't able to sing the score and was let go. And Patti, although a great singer, she didn't convey much emotion and she didn't sell tickets, then destroyed a dressing room, which to me, is unacceptable no matter what happened before, just not professional behavior, and that was only what was reported, she was hell to work with. Betty Buckley and Elaine Paige also didn't have the same numbers that Glenn had. Producers are smart.
