What happened?
He was once red hot, now he's replacing leads with Waitress and Little Shop, not originating roles.

Not sure if it's accurate, but I've heard he prefers the shorter time commitments so he can spend more time with family, especially having a young child.

I think they mean more so it didn’t help his profile.
I do wonder. Like the upcoming Water for Elephants he’d be great for, but maybe he doesn’t want to travel, etc. who knows! Life of an actor!

I agree that it’s surprising. His band doesn’t seem to be all that successful, his movie was a bomb, and he hasn’t had a new show in a while. His voice is great, and I hope he gets something big and good soon.
