A friend and I want to rush Sweeney this weekend, how early should go, where are the seats, etc. (you know the routine by now)

They don't even sell rush on weekends. Sorry.
OMG I forgot that they don't. Ugh.... I want to go to the final performance. Doubtful that the last two rows which are cheap are still available. I'll be going there tomorrow to check anyway.
You're in luck Just_John...there's still some cheap seats available at Telecharge.com, you'll have no problem tomorrow at the box office!

Oh thanks so much, I didn't even think to look there first.
my wife and I rushed Sweeney on Tuesday night... we got there at 5p.m. and there were still several student rush tickets available. we actually got awesome rush tickets in the box seats where nothing was really obstructed. on our way out of the box office is when we came accross Ushers debut in Chicago. we hung around there for an hour or so and then just walked back over to sweeney.
i guess the rush tickets for this show arent selling very fast?
Well they sell just whatever is left over that's in the boxes or the exteme sides of the orchestra.
They don't start selling rush until two hours prior to curtain, so if you went at 5 on a Tuesday you got there as they went on sale.

Our rush tickets Tues night were Center Mezz- awesome seats for rush. So they'll definitely sell whatever they have left.
Mine were 3--front row mezz on the left.
Sorry to jack, but love your avatar cathy!
I'm debating coming Thursday before closing for rush or coming that weekend to one of the four perfs and buying a cheaper seat. It's way more convenient for me to come that weekend, but if the seats for the rush are better then i'd make the sacrifice and come in thursday. EAch is the same price. What is better in your opinion?
