The front page has the title music. It sounds fantastic. Enter the site, and you can hear extended pieces of lots of songs. It all sounds better than I ever thought it would.

Carter's voice is a bit too pure for my taste. Sounds like a young pre-pubescent choir boy.
Depp is fantastic.
Jonathan Tunick's orchestrations (under the expert baton of Paul Gemignani) are incredible.

Wow... I actually can't wait until the soundtrack is released.
And I never thought i'd say that.

Where are you finding these songs?

I guess it need not be said, but Jonathan Tunick's orchestrations are so lovely that it almost hurts.
if only Carter didn't sound like she was singing Little Lamb from Gypsy... Granted she may win me over when I see it but as of now I don't think she sounds menacing enough. And she not playing up the humor of the character which I feel is key. Oh well.
Just like everyone else, I can't wait!

It sounds lovely! Depp sounds less like Jack Sparrow...until he just said "barber from his plate." I really enjoy Helena Bonham-Carter. I'm not surprised the woman can sing since she can basically do everything else well, on screen. It's nice to hear names produce great sounds (like Carter) as opposed to not (Amanda Bynes). Personal opinion.

The orchastrations are AMAZING! Nice full sound.. Depp I believe will pull this off. However, I really don't like her voice at all. She can't sustain her notes, can't hit the higher notes fully, I'm really disappointed. With all the actresses out there (even "box office" names) they really should have cast someone who could sing better. I just hope her acting blows me away..
Wiz, you have to go where it says "Enter Site" on the homepage where it says "view trailer," etc. That opens a new window where there are a bunch of audio clips.
JONATHAN TUNICK HAS AND ALWAYS WILL STAND TALL AND PROUD ON MY SOUL'S MANTELPIECE! The music is as gorgeous as ever!
Bonham sounds like the weakest link. Too wholesome and round, if that makes sense. No grit. At all.
The lovers sound sweet.
My gawd, the pounding orchestra in "Epiphany"! And it's great to hear the woodwinds and strings so beautifully in "No Place Like London"
Hover your mouse all over the main page and there are some little easter-egg graphics
A THOUSAND BRAVOS TO THE WEBSITE DESIGNERS! This site gives anyone who has NO IDEA about the show a regular and clean dosage of information and emotional-hooks to get ANYONE interested.
PS: Look forward to some phenomenal "Sweeney Todd" film features on BroadwayWorld in the coming-weeks!

Carter's rendition of "Worst Pies In London" is actually fantastic, compared to some of her other songs.

Bahahahahahaha. Alan Rickman's singing voice is awesome. And it's exactly as I expected it to be.
Not liking carter at all.
Everything else is orgasmic.
I actually enjoy how Helena sounds. But I do wish they could have trained her with some vibrato. Though it's very heard to teach a complete non-singer to use vibrato.
very cool! the only downer was that I couldn't get any of the links to work initially in the promo email I got from Dreamworks. I had to correct the URLs, sort of like when you click on a BWW user's myspace link in their profile.
"Pretty Women" sounds really great, but Carter isn't really doing it for me. She's better than I thought she's be though. I want to see this movie NOW!

ahhhh- It's so reassuring to know that all these songs are kept and in their original glory. I've heard "Little Priest", "Epiphany", "By the Sea", "Green Finch and Linnet Bird", "Poor Thing" (sung by Sweeney now), "Johanna", and "Pirelli's Miracle Elixir", "The Contest", "Pretty Women", "Worst Pies in London" and "Nothing's Gonna Harm You" now, and they are all loverly!! I'm still not a big fan of Carter's voice yet. But I'm sure it will grow on me. Depp is amazing though. Rickman is a GOD though in "Pretty Women". The harmonization is beautiful.
Johnny sounds pretty good, and the orchestrations are magnificent. I can't say that so much about Helena Bonham Carter. There's not much behind her voice. Great clips though.
..."Poor Thing" (sung by Sweeney now)...
What do you mean, "sung by Sweeney now"? Doesn't that ruin the whole point of the song?!
I'm VERY surprised they've put the entirety of "A Little Priest" on the site.
I was hoping they'd only be snippets...to leave something for surprise.

HBC is ruining Lovett's songs for me
that song isn't poor thing, it's part of no place like London
hmmm... dont know what to think. the visuals look amazing, i'm sure the directing will be great and i know that depp and carter can act the hell out of anything, but Carter sounds so weak and mousy. i mean depp is a little more "talky" than i had hoped, BUT, he still sounds OK. but carter sounds so weak... why? i had to raise the volume during "worst pies in london" to hear her. there was no power at all...
