Can't you switch to a different date?

Checked every performance from now until 8/27, a pair of tickets in my price range aren't available

So, the only two actors who are definitely staying until New Years Eve are Norm and Carmello, yes?
Norm will be leaving during the rest of the cast switch in August.

That's unfortunate, damn I thought he was staying. Ok, thank you Kad.

Is Norm leaving in late August confirmed?

I was looking at going in Oct but after seeing this I am not sure I want to waste my time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b9WCxJ8sW8
Is his acting really that bad? It was top on my list to see but now I am 2nd guessing it. Also recommendations on seating?

I did not see the London leads but I thought Norm's acting was just fine. His voice more than makes up for it, and the immersive nature helps make him quite menacing. I was at table C (I think 9 and 10) - had we not been right in the heart of it I might have felt differently. If for no other reason, though, this is worth seeing bc of Carolee. I certainly don't think Norm will dissapoint given all the other factors - but I definitely recommend the middle tables if you can get seats there.
He is also the nicest actor I've ever met after a show. The actors come out into the lobby rather than stage door, and he spent a ton of time with everyone, made sure everyone had autographs and pictures, and was incredibly gracious.
Go see it - you won't regret it but I can only speak for the "immersive" seats!

I got seats B-9 and B-10 for a sat 2pm show. Looks like it might a complete different cast when I go in Oct

I'm confused. What looks so bad about his performance? He's not the best Sweeney, but I wouldn't call him "bad."

He's an incredible actor and human being. Just like Andy Karl. I love supporting everything he does because I think he deserves it. I am really bummed if he is actually leaving in August. That should be confirmed by now though. Hmm..

Can anyone provide a specific date in August as Norm's final show?
Anyone know who is the replacement for Norm?

If anyone was looking, there's a bunch of good seats avail for Wed. night. No pie seats, but G row counters, 1 table seat, and a couple at the counter by the pie counter.
They've been auditioning replacements for Norm. I believe his contract is up the same time as Doyle et al.

Saw this tonight and enjoyed it greatly. Hearing everyone perform without amplification was very cool, but I did have some trouble hearing/understanding people. But that happens with mics too, especially when they're singing over each other
Honestly, I've never listened to or seen the show(stage or movie) before, so this was an interesting introduction. I knew the basic storyline, of course.
Thanks for the seat recs here, I grabbed a G counter seat that popped up last minute and it was a perfect view.

Saw this last week. Carmello is in rare form. Really
amazing. She's worth the price of admission. The whole production is terrific.

I emailed the show and received a response yesterday indicating that Mr. Lewis' final performance will be on Sunday, August 13. Does anyone know who will be taking over the lead?

When I lost the lottery earlier I got a notification that there were 69.50 tickets for tonight's performance available to the losers. I think that's about the same price as the balcony seats, anyone have any idea if these tickets for lottery losers are balcony seats or seats downstairs? I got the same message yesterday but opened it too late. Thanks!

Has anyone sat in the balcony recently? Apparently they removed the upstairs pie shop to improve sight lines. Any reports?
We should get word very soon on Norm's replacement.

Was just wondering about that. The show's email account told me last week that there would be an announcement today.
